i feel like. this is my vampire dormitory hot take okay. so the premise of vampire dormitory is that mito is a girl disguised as a boy and she's accidentally catfishing a gay-or-bisexual vampire who thinks she's a boy. ruka thinks they're Boyfriends or something adjacent. every other character seems to be cool with this as well as far as the gay part goes? and only takes issue with it for other reasons (ex. vampire royalty power struggle, thinking mito is suspicious, not liking ruka, etc). But this seems to be a pretty lgbt-accepting environment, right??

i feel like if mito's Secret was revealed, and someone found her without her stupid wig that's an exact replica of her real hair but short, or walked in on her changing to discover her wearing her terrible ace-bandage makeshift binder, she could just be like "oh i'm Transgender. you know about transgender. trans guy right here!" like she could just Lie, like she's already been doing. mansplain manipulate girlboss etc. and no one would be able to refute that at all. like what, are you gonna be a TRANSPHOBIC VAMPIRE? no. this is literally the perfect solution plus then maybe ruka could buy her a real binder.

All goes well, I should be caught up with the Blue Exorcist dub tomorrow (last 2 episodes of Blue Night Saga will be watched when they're dubbed), so poll time. Hell's Paradise

the animation is beautiful and similar to jjk (thanks mappa), set in the Edo period (16-1800s)

Sleepy Princess in the demon castle

The mc's hair and eyes are so cool. I love this one for when my brain is not working bc it's so simple and adorable. The princess is funny and resourceful and there's all sorts of demons.

Vampire Dormitory

English dub is so funny! (sub does not hit the same) the main love interest is so beautiful? Look at his hair. It's so sweet and queer, probably my favorite romance thing ever (and favorite vampire media if I'm honest). I'm rewatching it currently. It's so so good but I never hear about it and this was the only gif in the search chqhxhajdksnx pls if this doesn't get a second season I'll have to kill god :(

The misfit of demon king academy

I fuck with the misfit demon king. Someone suggested this and I'm so glad I wrote it down akchajxkak it's cute and funny and has some good asmr fights. He's so unhinged and strong and crazy and sweet (this white haired girl is my favorite character tho).

Rewatching this again. The use of color is so abcjamxjams.... It's pretty morbid, there is a lot of character deaths, but also a fun mystery bc someone is secretly dead this whole time! (here's my favorite character)

Demon Slayer

Finally just started over from the beginning and caught up. It's nice to get to know the other characters better and I'm So excited for the infinity castle movie. It just keeps getting better

Apothecary Diaries

Yes I got into this bc Kaiji Tang (Gojo's English VA). The first few episodes are kinda slow but I just finished it again and it's so good?? Season 2 comes out this month, I love the main character so much. It's a bit of everything, foraging, gardening, science, brothels, romance, etc...

Flying Witch

This is SO chill. No romance, no drama, no violence. Just community, foraging, witchcraft etc...

Jujutsu kaisen

After reading the manga a few times and crunchyroll banning myself (bc I kept replaying jjk so much it was making me sick lmfao) it is still SO enjoyable, the things I like better in thr manga are so petty and such minor differences I could count them on one hand.
